Serenity Shells, 'Underwater' Seaweed, hand decorated natural shell

Serenity Shells is a one woman business by crafter Necole, who set up her business having lost her job due to the pandemic in 2020. The shells are from local fishermen and Necole collects them, cleans and dries them before sorting for suitability. Any that are rejected are ground for garden use. They are decorated using careful placement and découpage techniques, glazed on the decorated surface, left natural on the backs and then gilded with gold lacquer on the edges.
This shell 'Underwater' features pretty seaweed in turquoise blue and green - this one is a little smaller than most, reflected in the lower price and would make a great companion piece for a mini collection maybe. Remember to use a mat if placing on precious polished surfaces.
